How will I get paid?
Set up Stripe in the app. Pay is usually released to your Croux balance about 24 hours after your shift's scheduled end, once you've submitted your shift review and your timesheet is approved. Disclosed extended approval windows can apply. With an eligible debit card in Stripe, Instant Payout typically reaches your bank in minutes after release. Standard Pay typically takes 2-3 business days. See payment details.
What kind of work is available on Croux?
Croux houses shifts for a large variety of roles including: Event Staff (general labor, brand ambassadors, soft security and access control, valets, parking attendants, ticketing), Front of House (servers, server assistants, hosts/hostesses, bussers, food runners, baristas, bartenders, cashiers, bar backs), Back of House (dishwashers, prep, line cooks, fry cooks), and Miscellaneous (housekeepers). We are constantly adding new shift roles, so continue to check back in on the app to see what's new!
How much hospitality experience do I need to work with Croux?
Whether you're a newbie or an industry vet, Croux has shifts for you! Each shift will display the required experience, so you'll know if it aligns with your level of experience. The most important factor in your success is your reliability.
What are the requirements to sign up?
There is no charge for talent to sign-up for the app or start working shifts. Croux does require the following: you must be 18 years or older, you must own a cell phone with data or internet connection, you must upload a government ID, and you must read and agree to our Talent Guidelines.
How does the referral program work?
For friends who sign up September 21 through November 15, 2026, you will each earn $20 after their first completed shift and $80 after their fifth shift within 60 days of signing up. They must enter your referral code at signup, pass their background check, and stay in good standing: no no-shows, no late cancellations, no negative reviews, and no Do Not Hire flags. Referral bonuses are paid on Tuesdays. Outside this window, standard bonuses apply. See full rules.
